I'm writing to apply for the 3D Lighting Artist position.

I'm a Senior 3D Artist with 15+ years of experience, with a strong focus on lighting, atmosphere, and look development across stylised and realistic projects. I've built lighting systems from the ground up for individual scenes, balancing intensity, colour, and direction to match a director's creative vision, and I'm used to working closely with art direction and production teams to keep that vision consistent shot to shot. My toolset covers Maya, Blender, V-Ray, and Houdini, and I have a solid grounding in shading, shadow and reflection consistency, and optimising lighting setups to meet technical and performance targets without losing visual quality.

I'm also comfortable working within an established production pipeline, communicating with a lighting supervisor around quotas and priorities, and adjusting quickly when a scene needs revisiting.

On the note regarding EU tax residency: I hold EU tax residency and can invoice from an EU bank account with an EU billing address, so I'm fully aligned with the requirements under the Canary Incentive Legislation.
