Dolly dearest…

3d render of a cracked old ceramic doll face.

The concept was to create an unsettling hybrid between a cracked porcelain doll and organic life using high-detail sculpting and texturing to blend natural and man-made materials. The octopus-like tentacles twist through and merge with the fragile mask, suggesting both decay and life, in a scene lit with dramatic, saturated colour.

The main idea was to combine material realism cracked glaze, translucent skin, wet surfaces with a highly stylised composition that feels theatrical and ominous. The client needed a 3d model combining storytelling, creature design, and lighting mood.
