The goal was to develop a highly detailed, dark interpretation of Krampus, the mythical figure from Alpine folklore known for punishing naughty children during the holiday season.

The project focused on crafting a cinematic close-up showcasing skin detail, hair/fur grooming, and an unsettling expression while playing with contrasting lighting to evoke an eerie, festive atmosphere. The worn ornament in his hand adds a sinister narrative touch, hinting at the twisted holiday tale behind the character.

The final result blends realistic anatomy and textures with a highly stylized mood, pushing the boundaries between horror and folklore-inspired fantasy.
