Look development and previsualization for a unique project pairing a printed book with an AR mobile app experience. The team designed and modeled a “time travel device” based on the client’s initial concept, developing the full visual style and interactive functionality. The 3D asset was optimized for both real-time performance in the mobile AR app and high-resolution use in digital photography and printed materials. The device features an interactive mechanism: pressing the left-side button triggers three front blades to retract, revealing a map of the city with key locations and clues tied to the book’s narrative guiding users as they solve mysteries throughout the story.
